Overview & Primary Function:

Clean Solutions Group (CSG) is a successful American manufacturer that produces innovative clean solutions using environmentally sustainable practices, with factories in North Carolina, Texas, and Georgia. Our products include non-woven filtration media, nano coating, floor pads, hand pads, and safety matting.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to become an important part of a rapidly growing team. This Assistant Controller will be expected to perform a variety of general accounting functions along with leading the company's payroll processing along with assisting in accounts payable and fixed asset reporting. This position reports to the CFO and is responsible for applying general principles of accounting, reviewing, and analyzing financial information, and preparing financial reports. An ideal candidate is responsive, thoughtful, self-directed, positive, and seeking a challenging role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist the CFO in producing all commercial financial reporting to support market segments / pricing / products management and to enable faster, smarter, and more creative business decisions.
• Reporting of operational data to key members of leadership team, including key metrics on all financials.
• Assist the CFO by providing in-depth reporting for the manufacturing team (including labor and overhead analytics for the manufacturing performance) so that production variances and factory spend are clear and easy to understand.
• Assist CFO with preparation of budgets and controls including financial forecasting and reporting on progress against budget.
• Ensure that the Company complies with all relevant US legislative requirements and deadlines are achieved (including Audit, tax returns, insurance, etc.).
• Assist the CFO in managing the finance department to ensure that proper records are maintained and adequate accounting controls and financial procedures are in place.
• Assists CFO in managing the annual financial audit process performed by our independent CPA firm with applicable.
• Assist CFO in overseeing the cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
• Assist CFO in overseeing cash, investments, and asset management.
• Assist CFO in overseeing banking relationships.
• Manage CSG insurance programs.
• Manage CSG legal affairs: assess the benefits of contracts, advise as to design and implementation.
• Assist the CFO in maintaining CSG corporate legal records including Shareholder and Director meetings.
• Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of public accounting experience.
• Ability to review detailed data and provide clear, relevant, and concise analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of, accounting, process control, tax, and administration.
• Experience working with IT to manage and enhance finance and accounting ERP capabilities.
• Highest possible ethical and professional standards.
• Ability to travel 25%.
• A participative management style with great flexibility and the ability to promote a teamwork environment.

Education and/or Experience

• 5-10 years of post-qualification required.
• Bachelor degree in accounting CPA.
• Public Accounting experience required with working knowledge of U.S. GAPP.
• Experience in a financial-management role in manufacturing sector is important.
• Experience in reports in Tableau a plus.
• Prior ERP Microsoft GP or Syspro a plus.
